“wake up and get ready,we’re going to your brother’s rugby
game!” When my family was ready to go we all rushed quickly
to the van and drove off. 

When I

was watching  his game my whole family was supporting him
Also when he had the ball he run and takile one guy then he had
a run away. And he had lots of people on him but they never got
him down.
Also there was an Auckland rugby team that came and watched
the game. When the game ended the Auckland team came and t
old my brother that he got a scholarship to become an Auckland
rugby player and he was full of excitement and joy.

How to make a chicken vegetables soups

Ingredients

Potatoes

Carrots

Caddage

Onions

Garlic

1 cans of tomato and a can of crn

Shredded chicken

Some butter or olive oil

  Seasoning

Salt to taste

Black pepper

Herbs to taste

Equipment

A peeler

A knife

A coping board

A pot

Methed

Peel the potatoes and carrots chop the cabbage roughly.

Roughly dice the potatoes and carrots slice the onions to peel the garlic quickly use this simple trick. 

Put the garlic in the microwave for 10 seconds and the peels will come off quickly.

Put peeled garlic and the rest of the chopped vegetables into the pot.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Add herbs of your c some water into the pot and put it on the stove to simmer.

Leave it for about half an hour.

Use the blender to blend the vegetables once they are soft and cooked.

Add shredded chicken on top.

Now you can enjoy your soup with a piece of toast!

Human generator

On Thursday we went to room 8

To try out the human generator when it was
my chance I saw 2 buttons,there was one
on 1 side that was controlling 1 bulb and
the other one controlling the led one.

Place like McDonalds use normal ones
same as shops. If they use LED bulbs they
can save heaps and heaps of money.

Bike day

On Monday the 16th september  we had a
bike day also we called it a bike day
celebration. 

And  it happened down at  the bike 

Shed. Also a company named Mike Greerer
real estate company donated 

Us 25 new bikes . 

So after morning tea which was at 11:30 the
whole 

Syndicate went down to the bike shed. So
when we got 

There, There was some activities happening  

One activity was making badges. The other
thing 

That we had to do was write something that
you want to do, and the final activities that
you could was to colour a bike. Then when
your done we have to give our paper to the

Bike crew and they will make you a badge.
When I got my badge done I felt happy.

The next one that i had next was milo 

And some biscuit. And my mum was there
making biscuits So when i got 

One milo and a biscuit i went and drink my
milo also eat my biscuit  it was yum

And delicious. As soon as I finished my
milo the bell rang so I had to go back to
class.

lightly until milo and sugar dissolve

   How do people celebrate Matariki ?

Matariki is a Maori new year, Maori in New Zealand celebrate Matariki. 

Whanau gathering - This is a time when extended whanau get together to celebrate the new year.

Preparing Matariki breakfast - People get up early in the morning before sun rise, To make a big feed for the big whanau to celebrate Matariki new year, During the night time looking at the stars which is considered good luck.

Harvesting crops - It is the time to cut ripe crops to grow new seeds in the fields.

Fly kites - Maori make special kind of kites that are made out of flax or sticks, They also have Kite flying competitions during the new year.

Fishing - It is the time to catch fish, to cook it and have a feast under the 7 Matariki stars.

Remembering Ancestors - Families remember their ancestors whom have gone or remember the good times they had with them.

Narrating legends - People from different sides have different legends about the Matariki legend.

Pepe rama - These are paper lanterns that are flown in the sky during the night sky. These lanterns are flown for their ancestors who have passed away. People also go to their graves to put flowers or food.
